French football star Kylian Mbappé has allegedly turned down a meeting and contract offer from Saudi Arabian football club Al Hilal, as per multiple reports. Mbappé has recently been the subject of intense discussion in the sporting world due to rumors that Al Hilal was prepared to break the world record transfer fee and offer €300 million for the talented Paris Saint-Germaine (PSG) striker.
The proposed deal would have entailed an astonishing $775 million salary for the 24-year-old Mbappé, a figure that immediately caught the attention of top athletes from various sports. According to reports from French outlet L’Equipe and well-known Italian soccer journalist Fabrizio Romano, representatives from Al Hilal, the four-time winners of the Asian Champions League, traveled to Paris in an attempt to meet with Mbappé’s representatives. However, their efforts were reportedly rejected. Interestingly, PSG has excluded Mbappé from their squad for the preseason tour of Japan and presented him with an ultimatum: either sign a new contract or be sold. As of late, there have been strong speculations linking Mbappé to a potential move to the illustrious La Liga giants Real Madrid.
