No football in Kaliningrad, Russia until Saturday when the Super Eagles of Nigeria face Croatia. Preparations are continuing at pace as everyone is trying to get their work done in time to watch the big kick off 1,200km always in Moscow.
The Stadium here is built to look like a ship and is likely to be the home to Russian second tier side Baltica after the World Cup. It is on what was swamp land and cost a cool 17.75 billion rubles (around £220 million). The city of Kaliningrad reportedly produces 90% of the world’s amber.
Good luck guys!
