Former Super Eagles of Nigeria forward, Obafemi Martins has joined the Chinese Super League, CSL side, Wuhan Zall FC.
The 35-year-old weapon of mass destruction as he is fondly called joined the Chinese outfit as a free agent after just two months of joining another Chinese Club, Shanghai Greenland Shenhua. The FC Ebedei product signed a short term contract with Wuhan Zall FC. He has played for Reggiana, Inter Milan, Newcastle United, VfL Wolfsburg, Rubin Kazan, Birmingham City, Levante, Seattle Sounders FC, and Shanghai Shenhua scoring 18 goals in 42 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria. Wuhan Zall FC currently occupied the fourth position on the Chinese Super League Group B table with 16 points in 11 games.
