Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has become the first player to score in the first seven matches of a Bundesliga season as Borussia Dortmund drew with Darmstadt. The Gabon striker found the net twice in eight second-half minutes after Marcel Heller put the visitors ahead. Aubameyang levelled from Matthias Ginter’s cross after 63 minutes, before netting his 10th goal of the season from Adnan Januzaj’s pass. Darmstadt’s Aytac Sulu hit a 90th-minute equaliser to secure a draw. This years African Footballer of the Year race will have Aubameyang, Yaya Toure and Andre Ayew as real contenders we are sure.
