Sierra Leone is able to host football matches again after the African football confederation (CAF) lifted a ban put in place in August 2014 because of the Ebola epidemic. “International football matches and CAF competitions can again be organised in the West African country,” CAF said in a statement. The 45,000 capacity Brookfields National StadiumĀ in Freetown will soon be buzzing again.
