Former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has become the latest big name to join the Chinese Super League after being confirmed as the new manager of Hebei China Fortune. The Chilean replaces Li Tie, who got the club promoted last season. They are currently fifth with seven games of the season remaining. Pellegrini has been out of the game since his contract with City expired at the end of last season. He won a Premier League title and two League Cups during his three years at the Etihad Stadium. Pellegrini joins former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson and former Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari in the 16-team Chinese Super League.
