Tyson Fury says he has been taking cocaine to help him deal with depression. Fury, who retired on Monday before later claiming it was a joke, says he has suffered mental health issues for years. The world heavyweight champion also said he has not trained since May. “I can’t deal with it and the only thing that helps me is when I get drunk out of my mind,” he told Rolling Stone magazine.

The British Boxing Board of Control will decide whether to withdraw world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury’s licence to fight. Fury, 28, claimed he had retired on Monday but later retracted the comment. He told Rolling Stone magazine that he took cocaine to help him deal with depression. BBBofC general secretary Robert Smith said cocaine use is “against the law”
