The Games produced several unforgettable moments for Team Nigeria. Goodness Nwachukwu lit up Glasgow with a world-record throw on her way to para discus gold. Samuel Ogazi, Ezekiel Nathaniel, and Chukwuebuka Enekwechi each made history by becoming the first Nigerians to win Commonwealth Games gold medals in the men’s 400m, 400m hurdles, and shot put, respectively. Tobi Amusan also added another major international medal to her remarkable career with a bronze in the women’s 100m hurdles.

From athletics and para sports to weightlifting, powerlifting, and judo, Team Nigeria showcased the talent, determination, and fighting spirit that continue to make the nation proud.
