Karim Benzema has been warned by the French Prime Minister that he could lose his place on the French national team. Benzema is embroiled in a sex-tape case involving team-mate Mathieu Valbuena, whom he is accused of blackmailing. Speaking on French radio, PM Manuel Valls said “a great athlete should be exemplary. If he is not, he has no place within the France team.”
