Blackburn Rovers have signed former England defender Wes Brown on a free transfer until the end of the season. The 36-year-old was released by Sunderland in the summer following a five-year spell with the Premier League side. Brown will also assist coaching Blackburn’s under-23 side as part of his contract at Ewood Park.
