Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has signed a year-long contract extension with the Serie A leaders. The former Italy international, who will be 43 when his new deal expires, returned to Juventus in 2019 after a season at Paris St-Germain.

Nigeria and Lille striker Victor Osimhen has won the 2020 Marc-Vivien Foe award for the best African player in France’s Ligue 1. The striker succeeds former Lille player, Ivorian winger Nicolas Pepe, who left France last year for a move to Arsenal.
